ABOUT ME

My name is Iona Rosin, born 1980 in Västergötland, Sweden. Currently I live in Stockholm.

I'm an educated game designer and have work experience in the game industry. Currently I'm working as a programmer at king.com.

Since childhood, I've had a great passion for art, music, writing, logic experiments and games... among else. I studied art during upper secondary school since I dreamt of becoming an artist. I also dreamt about becoming a writer and wrote a lot of novels during some years.

I discovered the profession of my dreams when I studied Computer game development at the University of Skövde and got the opportunity to work as lead game designer at Lockpick Entertainment for some years.

Creativity is what's driving me forward.

Other interests is music, nature (I love strolling around in the forest and I'm very interested in herbs), mysticism and paganism, birds (I'm a hobby-ornithologist), sewing (I like to sew my own clothes) and very much more.

As a person, I would describe myself as open-minded, outspoken, determined, talented, creative and hard-working.

When I get myself into something, I give absolutely everything.

Skydiving

I strive to fulfil my dreams which makes my life pretty eventful. Year 2008 I jumped from a plane 4 000 meters up in the sky, which was a breathtaking experience.

Another dream of mine has been to visit Japan. I fulfilled it 2009 and consider to re-fulfil it as soon as possible. You can watch my adventures in Japan here.

I also dream about swimming among sharks, since I'm scared to death for everything that live beneath the surface. Hopefully I can show you a film picturing that one day.

Family

My family consists of my father Gerhard, nowadays living in Peru (click here to visit his website), and my brother Daniel who works as a System Architect at Jeppesen. He is married to his lovely wife Ursula, originally from Peru, and together they brought little Maja into this world. I'm sure they all will pop up in my blog now and then.
